Vandehey, Nora (23 May 1876 - 23 Feb. 1954)  
 

A rosary service for Mrs. Nora Vandehey, who died Tuesday, will be held tonight at 8:00 o’clock at the Zink Funeral Home, where the body is lying in state. A requiem high mass will be sung at St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Friday morning at 9:30 with the Rev. Raymond Schulz officiating. Burial will be made in the Loyal cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Vandehey had suffered a prolonged illness and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Noel Schelling, at 7:00 o’clock Tuesday morning.  
 

Mrs. Vandehey, formerly Nora F. Kennedy, was born May 23, 1876, in Halder, and was married there to James Vandehey, Jan. 21, 1896. She received her education in Halder and Mosinee. They operated a farm near Abbotsford for a number of years, and three years ago she moved to Abbotsford. She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic church and of the Altar Society.  
 

Surviving are five sons, Elmer and Ray Vandehey, Abbotsford; Grant Vandehey, Escanaba, Mich.; Leonard Vandehey, Auburndale; and James C. Vandehey, Kaukauna; three daughters, Mrs. Leo (Hazel) Rice and Mrs. Adonis (Margaret) Dalberto, Iron Mountain, Mich.; and Mrs. Noel (Nora) Schelling, Abbotsford; 21 grand children and five great grand children.  
 

Her husband, a daughter, a son, three sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Vandehey, 77, who died Feb. 23, were held Friday morning at 9:30 at St. Bernard’s Catholic church. The Rev. Raymond Schultz sang the requiem high mass after which internment was made in the Loyal Cemetery. 
 

The pallbearers were grand sons of the deceased: Bernard, Robert and William Reis, of Iron Mountain, Mich.; Frank, Lawrence and Leonard Vandehey, of Auburndale. 
 

All of the children attended the funeral. They are Mr. and Mrs. Noel Schelling, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Vandehey and Ray Vandehey, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Vandehey, Escanaba, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Vandehey, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rice and Mr. and Mrs. Don Dalberto, Iron Mountain, Mich.; and James C. Vandehey, Kaukauna. 
 

Other relatives and friends from away who attended, included:
